Where it all started
After a 10-year career in Human Resources within the technology industry, I decided that I would like to take on the challenge of improving my Recruitment Industry experience, by joining the other side. If I was having such a hard time with the talent service providers, there must be countless other companies experiencing the same. I wanted to change that.
In 2018 shortly after this thought, and the buy-in of my business partner, Talentank was born.
Talentank does not plan to reinvent the wheel in the Talent space, but to rather breathe the human experience back into an industry that has become much about pushing CV’s, bums on seats and earning a buck. The candidate and the client are equally important in the equation, and both should be treated in a considered way to ensure that their needs are met and expectations are surpassed.
In 2020 Talentank partnered with Cogent: an Intelligent Automation business. The partnership gives us unique access to a business actively participating in the emerging technology space, and the inherent technical skills of their team. With their support we are able to deliver curated top technical talent to our clients.
In 2021 we launched the Digital TeamMate Service, again in partnership with Cogent. The service brings emerging technology to the SME space and helps businesses solve their talent challenges from a different perspective.
As a woman who has worked in the technology industry for most of my career, I am also incredibly passionate about supporting the various initiatives that create awareness, education and opportunities for women in the STEM careers. Together with Cogent, Talentank was afforded the opportunity to bring the UK initiative Women in RPA to Africa. Through this initiative, as well as others we plan to embark on, we will ensure that having a positive impact in our local communities remains an important part of our business culture.
We are certainly proud of the successes we have achieved in a short while and look to the future with our bold vision to keep building on today for the benefit of our people, clients and communities.
